Different type of plans & diagrams are prepared by the Survey Department and copies of such plans, tenement lists and Title Plans are issued to the public by the Document Management and Professional Standards branch in Surveyor General‘s Office (Head Office) and the respective District Survey office in the particular districts.

When an extract of a lot or several lots from a statutory plan along with land details printed in A3 size or less than A3 size paper, fee should be charged as per the following.

Issue of all types of diagrams
When L, O, V and R diagrams are issued, fee should be charged as Rs. 1,000.00 per lot.
Photocopies of all field sheets and town survey sheets should not be issued and when copies of them are requested, only printed copies should be issued using scan images.
Photocopies or printed copies of Key Sheets and 16 Chain sheets (16ch RD) used to amend new surveys on old surveys should not be issued to non-survey professionals.
Although the lot can be included into one section, when the same lot is included in several sections due to division of plan into sections, 50% of the fee should be charged for total copies.
Only the plan copies in A3 or less than A3 size papers should be issued by District Survey Office. Issue of plan copies in larger than A3 size should be forwarded to the Surveyor General's Office.
