We paid advance to a licensed surveyor to make plans for few pieces of lands. He came surveyed the land, marked the boundaries. We placed the posts also according to his directions. Now he avoid answering calls. What legal action we can take to obtain the plans. Thank you

I suggest issuing requested diagrams of land plans at least within one week time. I have paid a fee of 1620 on 8th Oct. 2021. Still, i am waiting to get it. One of my friend has been selected for an interview in 2018 for the recruitment of survey field assistant. They selected more than 320 candidates for that interview. But they appointed 261candidates in last October. Appointments were in the interview list order number 1_261. But unfortunately my friend coming after number 261. Therefore he was very upset for this incident. Eventhough he was passed the relevant exam and he selected for that interview also. Therefore we thought that they kept balance candidates as waiting list whenever the vacancy is available they will recruit them. As you know that now they again through gazette notification they called for the post of recruitment of survey field assistant. Dear sir I'm requesting on behalf of the candidates who passed and selected for the interview and remaining them as waiting candidates please sir can you recruit them? Plz sir i know my friend family background and everything. Like my friend those candidates are having so many family issues and sadness. Their families are depending on them. Particulary my friend he doesnt have parent also during the Tsunami he lost them. But here i didnt mention his name because of fear. Plz sir iam always pray for him. My questions are in relation to Condominium Properties:
1) When allocating Share Values for condominium parcels, why do surveyors only take into consideration the percentage of the area of the condominium parcel as against the total area of the completed condominium property? The Share value is used for fixing the management fee payable monthly and also for voting rights and to determine the residue value in the event the entire building is destroyed. Therefore shouldn't there be a formula in fixing the Share Value by taking into account the price paid per unit, the floor on which the unit is located and whether it is next to a high maintenance area such as a commercial section from the floor area? Cannot the Survey Department create a Formula for this purpose which all surveyors can use in fixing share values?
2. An Accessory Parcel should also have 6 bounds since it is called a "parcel". Why do surveyors call areas which are opened to the sky as "Accessory Parcels" and shouldn't the Survey Department give instructions in respect of such areas to surveyors?

To get a copy of the dead you have to contact Land Registration Department. If your Land is surveyed by the Survey Department, copy of the plane can get from the relevant District Survey Office. If not please contact Registered Licence Surveys who is carried out survey of the land.

a court order was issued ordering the surveyor general to provide a survey of land pertaining to a certain court case. It has been several months since the survey was performed after the court order but the survey documents is still not ready. The court keeps getting adjourned due to the lack of a survey document. How do I get the completed survey document (it has been several months since the survey was done) and why does it take so long to issue one even after having completed the measurements?

හිමිකම් ලියාපදිංචි කිරීමේ මැනුම් අංශයේ කාර්මික හා පරිපාලන නිලධාරි අයි. ආර්. යු. අබේසේකර වන මා විසින් 2017-04-01 දින අනුරාධපුර සංචාරක බංගලාව වෙන්කර ගැනීම සඳහා ඉල්ලුම්පත 2017-02-28 දින භාරදීමට ගිය අවස්ථාවේ එය මාසයක් ඇතුලත නොවීම නිසා භාර ගැනීම ප්රතික්ෂේප කරන ලදී. පසුව නැවත එය 2017-03-01 දින ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදී. එදින එම අයදුම්පත භාරගත් අතර ඒ වන විට කිසිදු අයදුම්පතක් ඉදිරිපත් කර නොමැති බව අදාළ නිලධාරිවරයාගෙන් දැන ගැනීමට ලැබුණි.
2. තවද සිරිතක් ලෙස පළමු අයදුම්කරුගේ නම ලේඛණයේ පැන්සලෙන් සටහන් කිරීම සිදුකරනු ලබයි. ඉන්පසු මුදල් බැඳීම සඳහා 2017-03-13 වන දින ගිය අවස්ථාවේ අවසාන සතියේ මුදල් බැදීම කලයුතු බව දන්වා තිබුණි. එදින යන විටද මගේ නම ලේඛණයේ පැන්සලෙන් සටහන්ව තිබුණි.
3. ඉන්පසු අවසාන සතියේ සඳුදා වන 2017-03-27 දින මුදල් බැඳිමට ගියවිට මාගේ නම ඉවත් කර වෙනත් අයෙකුට එම බංගලාව 2017-04-01 දිනට වෙන්කර මුදල්ද ගෙවා ඇතිබව දැන ගතිමි. මේ පිළිබඳව තව දුරටත් විමසීමේදී මාගේ නම පමණක් නොව මාගේ ඉල්ලුම් පත්රයද අතුරුදහන් කර ඇත. දරුවාගේ භාරයක් දීමට සෙනසුරාදා දිනකම යා යුතුව තිබු බැවින් එදිනට එය යොදාගත් අතර ඒ සඳහා වාහනයක්ද මුදල් ගෙවා වෙන්කර අවශ්ය කලමනාද සකස් කර තිබු අතර මෙම තත්වය දැන ගැනීමෙන් මා බලවත් මානසික අපහසුතාවයකට පත්විය. තවද මේ වෙනුවෙන් මා විසින් සෑහෙන මුදලක්ද වියදම් කර තිබුණි.
3 මෙහිදි ප්රමුඛතාවය තීරණය කරන බවත් ප්රමුඛතාවය තීරණය කිරිමේදී විශ්රාමික නිලධාරීන්ට වඩා දැනට සේවයේ සිටින නිලධාරින්ට ප්රමුඛතාවය දීම හා ඉල්ලුම් කල දිනය අනුවද එය සැලකිල්ලට භාජනය කිරීම සාධාරණ ක්රමවේදය බව පැහැදිලි වේ.
5. මෙවැනි අසාධාරණ තීන්දු වලට විශේෂයෙන් තාක්ෂණ සේවයේ නිලධාරින්ට හා එම සේවයේ අධීක්ෂණ නිලධාරින්ට මුහුණදීමට සිදුවේ. මෙවැනිම අත්දැකීමකට මා විසින් 2008 වර්ෂයේදීද මුහුණ දුනිමි. මේ ආකාරයට යම් කිසි නිලධාරියෙකුට අත්යවශ්ය ගමනක් සැලසුම් කරගැනීම නොහැකි වන අතර අවසානයේදී මෙවැනි වැරදි තීරණයක් මඟින් ඉල්ලුම් කල බංගලාව ලබානොදීම එම නිලධාරියගේ වෘත්තියට හා සේවාවට කරන බලවත් අසාධාරණයකි. Survey Department is not doing any work related to the air traffic control. please contact civil aviation department.
is there any easy way to find control monument ( BMM ) details in Kaluthara District for integrated Road investment Program. The roads are spread sporadically in the District and there is a road map file ( KMZ ) with me to locate each road. if there any unit in the Survey Department to go through our KMZ file and support us to find the near by bench marks in the Kalutkhara District, it will be very helpful to expedite the process of paying and getting required BM information.

Yes now there is no special registration unit in the Survey Department.
You can obtain registered plan from Land Registration Office.
Every time I ask the land registry they shout at me saying there are no survey plans in the land registry . They want listen . Is there any other official way to request it from them
